Mrs. Lin holds a degree in Educational Administration, is preschool education certified in both China and the US, and is CPR certified. The Maryland State Department of Education qualifies her as a daycare director. She has been running the Thumb Daycare since 2014 and it has gained a good reputation for childcare. With over 20 years of teaching experience, she has worked at Little Genius Montessori Center, New East, Guang Chi, Hua Yuan, Venus, and American Chinese Schools as a Chinese teacher. She is passionate to help children learn in a fun and safe environment.

Ms. Ivy is a Speech-Language Pathologist. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with an MA in Speech Language Pathology. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a BA in Hearing and Speech Sciences and a minor in Second Language Education. She holds the 90 + 9 Clock Hour Preschool Teaching Certification. Ms. Ivy has worked and volunteered at EduConnects, American Chinese School Summer Camp, Cathay Future Summer Camp, and Gaithersburg Arts Camp.
